Web Application Developer? programmer
We are seeking an entry to mid-level Web Application Developer/Programmer to join our team of professionals building exciting web sites for a nationwide client base. We offer a great work environment, competitive pay and excellent benefits. This is a full time staff position in our Ocala, FL office - we are not currently hiring freelance work. We do not pay any relocation costs.
Job Description:
Assist with creating dynamic, interactive, and customized websites as a part of a web design team. Build, test, debug, and troubleshoot programs and scripts for various functions. Change and modify existing code to add new features. Work with clients, sales team, and design team to create the best solutions for the customer. Work on projects for both internal and external customers.
Programming Experience:
- Frameworks: Classic ASP, .NET, C#
- Languages: JavaScript, VBScript, C#, PHP, SQL
- HTML, CSS, Table-less design
- XML
- AJAX experience a plus
- ColdFusion and PHP a plus
Skills / Experience:
- Must have a 4 year degree in Computer Science, Programming or equivalent
- Prefer 1-2 years minimum experience
- Must be comfortable building applications that are cross-browser and standards compliant
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server, MySQL, and Access databases
- Object oriented programming design experience
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
- Must be self-motivated, able to work within a project-based environment by frequently multi-tasking projects. Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
- Must be able to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment
- Must communicate well with clients (both in person and in writing) from a wide range of technical understanding
