What do you do at NetSource Technologies, and how long have you worked here?
I am the Marketing Assistant for NetSource Media and I joined the team in October 2013.
When did you become interested in art and design?
My family went to Disney a lot when I was very young. As I got older, I gained an appreciation for the acute attention to detail that Disney puts into the art and design involved in all of their products and locations.
When did you become interested in creating websites?
A company approached our engineering academy in high school asking if someone could design a website for them. Though I didn’t know anything about the subject, I was really interested in the opportunity. 6 months later I was proficient in utilizing all of the basic web languages, and the company had a great looking website.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Marketing is constantly changing with technology. I’d say that is what I love most about my job. Every day is research and development because you are finding new ways to reach your audience.
When did you become interested in computers and technology?
My older brother helped me build my first PC to play games on when I was 10 years old. Ever since then I have been passionate about computers and technology.
What piece of technology could you not live without?
I could not live without my smartphone. Having a computer/camera in my pocket that is just a bit thicker than a credit card is incredible.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
I really enjoy reading, running, and kayaking.
Do you have any hobbies?
Yes, I read a lot of books.
What is your favorite color?
Blue, it is the most calming color to me.
What is your favorite food / drink?
I love any Italian food, especially Fettuccine Alfredo.
What is your favorite musician or type of music?
My favorite composer is Hans Zimmer.
What are your favorite TV shows?
The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Sherlock are my favorite shows at the moment.
What are your favorite movies?
Some of my favorite movies are Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, District 9, and Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
What are your favorite books / magazines?
I read Wired magazine a lot. They have very interesting and in-depth articles about technology.
What are your favorite websites or blogs?
I really enjoy visiting IGN for all of my entertainment news. I also follow a number of technology blogs.

Tell us about your family!
I have a wonderful family! I have a brother and sister who I really enjoy hanging out with. My mother and father are the best parents I could ask for, I am very blessed. Our family is passionate about cooking. Holiday dinners are always a treat because there are so many delicious dishes to choose from.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a Jack Russell Terrier and a Dachshund.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d really like to visit Paris one day.
If you couldn’t be a Marketing Assistant anymore, what career would you pursue?
If I was not a marketing assistant, I would pursue a job as a special effects artist. I love movies and the technology behind them.
If you could choose to have any superpower, what would it be?
Super strength. Then I would conceal my power, join several professional sports teams, and be the greatest athlete in the history of mankind. Why didn’t Peter Parker do that? All the fame and glory without the negative press.
How do you think technology and/or web design will change in the next 10-20 years?
I think most of our desktop applications will move to the cloud. We will probably see a lot more browser-based applications that offer the full-functionality of their desktop counterparts.
What tips would you give to a business that is just starting out with their first website?
Put a lot of heart into it and do it right the first time. Many of your customers will judge the legitimacy and competence of your business based on what your website looks like and how well it functions. Your website is often the first thing a potential customer sees of you. Make a powerful first impression.
