The Details:

Mountain & Sackett Neckwear has been in the garment industry since 1957, originally located in the historic garment district of Manhattan. From their small beginnings, Mountain & Sackett focused on creating American-made products that reflected the elegance and sophistication of Europe’s finest artisan workshops. While they expanded their production levels and introduced a new, e-commerce retail store, the quality and craftsmanship of their product remains the same.

Mountain & Sackett sells handmade neckties directly to customers from their factory via their online store. However, in April of 2016, their owner, William Mountain, decided they needed to freshen up their now outdated website, and establish a more modern, mobile-friendly online presence to match their growing brand. To improve the user experience for their customers and establish a bold new presence for Mountain & Sackett, our NetSource Technologies web design team developed a custom theme and implemented a mobile responsive design for their existing ProductCart ecommerce site. The new website launched on September 15, 2016, and offered Mountain & Sackett’s customers a better shopping experience on both mobile and desktop. To accompany the launch, our marketing team also helped Mountain & Sackett announce their new website and seasonal promotions via email marketing and paid and organic Facebook marketing.

The Results:

For an e-commerce company, sales are obviously one of the most important measurements of success. Even before the new website launched, NetSource began helping Mountain & Sackett implement small Facebook ad and email campaigns to drive traffic and sales. From June 3, 2016 to January 2017, Mountain & Sackett achieved an increase of 3.21% in transactions and 40.84% in revenue compared to the previous period. The average order value also increased by 36.46%.
