Make the Move to GA4

The ability to track your analytics on your website gives you a lot of information about what is and isn’t working for your business. Which pages are getting the most traffic? How have changes to your website affected your overall traffic? Google Analytics is the best way to do this. However, things are changing for Google Analytics soon! The old Universal Analytics will be defunct soon, so you’ll have to make the switch to GA4. Here’s everything you need to know.

What is GA4?

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the newer version of Google Universal Analytics. GA4 is the new standard location for measuring digital traffic and engagement across your websites and app. Moreover, it’s one of the most advanced web analytics platforms on the market. However, the best part is that it’s completely free to use.

Migration Deadline

If you are currently using Universal Analytics you need to start the process to migrate to Google Analytics 4. This is because Google will stop receiving data to Universal Analytics accounts in 2023. In fact, the deadline to transition to GA4 is fast-approaching! Google is retiring Universal Analytics on July 1st of 2023.
